Hero quotes
A hero is no braver than an ordinary man, but he is braver five minutes longer.
Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882) U.S. poet, essayist and lecturer.
What with making their way and enjoying what they have won, heroes have no time to think. But the sons of heroes --ah, they have all the necessary leisure.
Aldous Huxley (1894-1963) British author.
There are heroes in evil as well as in good.
François de La Rochefoucauld (1613-1680) French writer.

Spiderman's dog
Once upon a time, it was an ordinary day, when Spiderman walked his red dog. He had the idea to arrive at his grandmother's house. Suddenly, the neighbour Stephanie appeared, a charming girl dressed a white sweater with a hood and a yellow skirt:
“How are you Mr Spiderman?” The girl asked.
“I'm fine, and you? Would you like to have dinner in my grandmother´s house with my friends?”
“This is a really nice invitation! Thank you very much, but who are your friends?”
“I think you know them; Batman, Shrek, Superman and Robin are coming.”
They decided not to take the bus, and they started to walk to grandmother's house.
Spiderman was like a prince in Stephanie’s eyes, a very especial hero who saved people, chased criminals, and made everybody happy.
They were talking about the good things of life, when they noticed someone coming: a policeman who had a big nose, and long legs looked at the dog, and said:
“Mr Spiderman, Does this dog belong to you?”
“Yes, it belongs to me, why do you ask?”
“ Because it's not legal to have a red dog!”
Spiderman ignored the comment, he kept grinning, until the little dog started barking. The policeman thought the dog was going to attack him, and he shouted:
“Sit down delicate beast! I think you didn't understand me, maybe it's because of my Malay accent, you are a charming animal!”
Spiderman kept grinning; he knew his dog wasn't threatening; however he was enjoying the show.
“Why is having a red dog against the law?” He asked.
The policeman couldn't answer, he was imagining how the dog escaped, and raced him. So, with a fictional distress he said:
“You can’t colour dogs, it transform them in fierce animals!!!”
Suddenly, Stephanie saw an amazing scene: a car turned left the road, Batman, Shrek, Superman, Robin and their respective dogs were into the car. They opened the door, and the four dogs, black, green, yellow and blue started barking too.
All the man knew was that he was in a very hard situation, it was time to run away, he thought.
“I’m sorry, I think I am mistaken, those dogs are adorable.”
Stephanie couldn’t stop laughing; it was the weakest man she met in her life!!
During dinner, all the superheroes and Stephanie enjoyed telling the story to the Grandmother , everybody had a different version. It was an unforgettable evening, the food was delicious, and the best things was, that she wasn’t the damsel in danger from every fairytale, she felt like having dinner at home!
